I'm Claudine, founder of Doverfield Designs, an interior designer based in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
I design warm, characterful family homes across Kent, East Sussex and London, colourful but timeless, and made to be properly lived in rather than looked at. Whether you'd love to hand over every detail or prefer to bring the vision to life yourself, I've built two clear services around how you like to work.
Both come from the same belief, that the best homes feel a little perfectly imperfect and wonderfully lived-in.
Full Interior Design
Your whole home, taken from the first idea through to the finished room.
My full-service design is for people who want a beautiful, characterful home without carrying the weight of a renovation themselves. I create the complete vision for your home and then see it all the way through: developing every detail, designing bespoke joinery, planning kitchens, bathrooms and lighting, specifying finishes, furniture and equipment, sourcing and coordinating the trades, and being on site as the work happens so the finished rooms turn out exactly as we planned.
You stay involved in the decisions that shape how your home looks and feels, while I look after everything behind the scenes. On larger projects I'm also happy to work alongside your project manager where you have one.
This is the right choice if you want to focus on living your life while I create, and deliver, the perfect backdrop for it. It suits busy professionals and families, whole-home renovations and multi-room projects, especially across Kent, London and East Sussex where I can be hands-on from start to finish.

Virtual design gives you a complete, professional scheme for your room, delivered online wherever you are in the UK. It's ideal if you're beyond the South East, working to a considered budget, or you simply enjoy the satisfaction of bringing a design to life yourself. I create the full creative vision, inspiring mood boards, a considered layout, a colour palette and a curated shopping list with direct links, then hand you everything you need to transform your space at your own pace.
You’ll love this if you want professional design guidance but prefer to control the timeline and installation yourself.

Full Interior Design is for you if you want to be involved in the creative decisions but leave the detail, the trades, the timelines and the on-site coordination to me. It’s ideal for busy professionals and families, whole home renovations or several rooms at once, especially if you’re within easy reach of Kent, London or East Sussex and want that personal, attentive touch from first idea to final handover.
Virtual Design suits you if you love being hands-on and want the satisfaction of realising a design yourself. It’s a flexible, budget-friendly option for working at your own pace, managing your own installation, or based further afield - and it’s perfect for on or two rooms rather than a whole-home transformation.

Yes. My full-service work takes your home from concept through to completion. I create the design, develop every detail, and oversee the build so it's delivered exactly as designed, coordinating the trades and being on site throughout. On larger projects I'm also happy to work alongside your project manager where you have one.

I'm based in Royal Tunbridge Wells and work in person throughout Kent, East Sussex and London, with many clients in and around Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks. For virtual design, I work with clients anywhere in the UK.

Full-service design is quoted per project, because every home and brief is different. I'll give you a clear proposal after a free discovery call and an on-site consultation. Virtual room designs start at £650, and one-off consultations are also available.

Yes. If you already have a builder, project manager or architect you trust, I work alongside them. If you don't, I can bring trusted trades and builders to the table.
