Carving out a snug in Wandsworth
We were presented with the classic conundrum of what to do with the middle room of a victorian terrace with this space. A room that had been previously been forgotten and unused, we wanted to turn it into an inviting space that tied into the larger kitchen area. We made use of the chimney breast by adding an easy to use electric fire and added built in joinery either side for a bar area on the left and hidden drawers for toys on the right.
Claudine helped us to transform a room that was lost in our home into an intimate and functional snug that has become the centrepiece of our home. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely use her for future projects.

As a middle room these can often be dark so we kept the scheme light and bright with layered lighting to create ambiance in the evenings when this room gets the most use. The result is now a room that really is the hive of this family home.
